According to iSuppli, more laptops than desktop computers were sold during the third quarters of 2008.
Indeed, 38.6 millions laptops were sold, against 38.5 millions desktop computers. In comparison with the same period in 2007, the sales of laptops increased by 40%, and those of the desktop computers fell of 1,3%.
