Microsoft: Computer on demand

In a patent request lodged with the American authorities, Microsoft describes a model where the users would pay only for the services they use.

According to this model, a user would see himself offering free, or almost, a « standard » computer.

Then, he would be charge according to the duration and the use of resources.

The computer would be provided with various performance levels being able to be selected by the user via a graphical interface, according to the task to be achieved.

The memory, graphics card and the processor would be different according to his personal need, for example gamer or not.. The user would also have the choice of various software to make word processing, to send and receive emails, to surf on Internet or to reach databases.

In this way, Microsoft affirms that the customer would pay only for that which it needs really
